Some random pictures of our life in the RV. I walked by our bathroom the other day and there was Campbell doing his business while playing on the iPad, I'm pretty sure he was Twittering.
Taylor helping with the dishes, I've left several messages with the dealer asking where the dishwasher is stored, no response yet, next time I need to ask for a supervisor.
We plan on doing a lot of biking on this trip and yesterday was our first "big" one. We have a long range biking strategy, our goal is to get the kids up to at least 10 miles by the end of the year. I pull a trailer behind my bike, we begin the trip with all four biking on their own, if the kids can't bike any more, we ignore them twice, then acquiesce. We attach their bikes to the back of the trailer and they jump in.
We are in Petoskey, MI, which is right on Lake Michigan. There is a bike path from our campground all the way to downtown Petoskey, which is just over 4 miles. It was a beautiful day and the ride was "epic" (as we've taught the kids to say). Before we knew it, we were in town, which means Campbell biked 4 miles! We were very proud, he didn't complain once. However, as you all know, a simple math equation using the circumference, times distance, times output, times resistance, times weight, times pedal speed... Campbell actually biked twice as far. (or simply put, his wheels are really small!).
On the way home, Campbell biked about 3 minutes and said he wanted to get in the trailer, I literally turn around 60 seconds later and he's done! And for the record, Taylor made it both ways.
The kids doing an Apple computer commercial at our dining room table, which doubles as our kitchen "nook", game table and school classroom.
A quick pit stop at a Rest Area, we park next to all the 18 wheelers. I always greet the other "truckers" with a cool nod, but so far they haven't responded.
