We are officially "on the road" and so far enjoying our adventure. We consistently heard one thing about new RV's, in the first year little things will constantly break. So our "rig" doesn't feel left out (yeah, that's RV talk) we've had it in the shop for the last week in Grand Rapids, MI. The best "little thing" that broke was the night shade that covers the entire front windshield wouldn't go up, so I tied it up with a jump rope (not sure where I put my rope!) and drove to the dealer. Click on the picture to enlarge the image. We consider this a rough plan because we don't know how long we'll want to stay in each place and we wouldn't want to give off the impression that we now are "planners".
We would like to extend an invitation to visit us at any of our locations, the RV sleeps 10! and we'd love to have you. AND if you have suggestions where to visit along the way please put them in the comments.
Tonight we'll be in South Haven, MI, on the coast of Lake Michigan... it's our first official RV site, I hope I don't have to back in! Then up to Northern Michigan this Wednesday.
